DCR-12/630 GW10-12/630 Outdoor Single Pole Isolation Switch

Overview

DCR isolation switch is an outdoor pole mounted single-phase isolation switch that provides a visible break for maintenance personnel and can also serve as a break point. Its structure is a double column isolation switch, with insulators and bolts locked on a hot-dip galvanized base. The isolation switch can be operated by pulling the pull ring. The default limit of the isolation knife after opening is 160 degrees (can be changed to 90 degrees on site or removed to no limit). When installing DCR isolation switches, an optional installation backplate can be provided, which can be clamped onto the crossbar to secure the switch during installation.

Technical Parameter

DCR isolation switch is applied in 12kV distribution network system, with a rated current of 630A, short-term withstand current of 20KA/4S, peak withstand current of 50KA, and  its power frequency and lightning impulse withstand voltage reaching the level of 2000 meters above sea level.

Operate

DCR isolation switch is high-voltage equipment that is usually operated using standard power insulation tools, and attention should be paid to correct and safe operation;

The operator should use an insulated pull rod to pull the pull ring on the DCR. The opening and closing operation of the DCR isolation switch should be carried out under no-load conditions;

Double column isolation switch, with insulators and bolts locked on a hot-dip galvanized low seat, can be operated by pulling the pull ring;

The default limit of the isolation knife after opening is 160 degrees (can be changed to 90 degrees on site or removed to no limit);

When installing DCR isolation switches, an optional installation backplate can be provided, which can be clamped onto the crossbar to secure the switch during installation.

Installation method

DCR isolation switches can be installed in single column and double column configurations; The installation form can be divided into suspended installation or vertical installation; Installation can be carried out using a single cross arm clamp or a double cross arm clamp;

The M12 bolt on the Terminal block needs to be tightened with a torque of approximately 80N. m by the installation personnel;
